位於美國紐約的「川普大樓」（Trump Tower）7日發生大火，140名消防人員全力搶救，火勢50樓延燒，造成1名男子喪生、4名消防人員輕傷。路過的民衆見狀趕緊拍影片上傳至推特上，還tag美國總統川普（Donald Trump）第50層樓大火要注意安全。據瞭解，川普的豪宅就在大樓中，不過川普一家人當時都在華府。

透過網友在推特上發佈的影片與照片可以看到，紐約曼哈頓的「川普大樓」約50樓處竄出烈火及濃煙，這場火災發生在傍晚，接近當地時間晚上6時，紐約市消防局趕緊全力灌救。

川普在火警傳出後沒多久，就在推特上向民衆表示，火勢相當小、範圍也不大，因此很快就控制失火了，「畢竟房子蓋得很好。」而他也相當感謝消防人員的辛勞，認爲他們表現得非常好，「真的非常謝謝你們！」
事實上，「川普大樓」在今年1月也發生過火災，位於58樓的頂樓冒出濃煙，當時研判是電線走火，紐約市消防局出動超過80名消防人員協助救災，該火災釀2人受傷，其中1人傷勢嚴重。
